SHEIKH RESIDENCE, HALISHAHAR, CHITTAGONG
A luxury residence is the pinnacle of home design, offering a level of comfort and elegance that is unparalleled. A home doesn’t only manifest one’s preference but incorporates the natural surroundings seamlessly to make it look and feel like a comprehensive address. This connection with nature emphasizes the visual acceptance of the structure and promotes a sense of harmony as well.
This multi storied family residence is a comprehensive approach to the client’s preference with an attribute of vertical openness. The design is carefully crafted to be both functional and stylish, providing an environment that is both inviting and relaxing.
It prioritizes sleek and contemporary architectural designs that blend seamlessly with the surrounding urban landscape. Clean lines, open spaces, and the use of sustainable materials are common features that give this project a fresh and sophisticated appeal.
The raw and rough texture of the concrete is complemented much by the wooden window frames and lush of greens all over.
A staggering approach towards the roadside led to the development of multiple outdoor spaces and terraces. Green walls have been carefully placed keeping their maintenance in mind through such terraces. These terraces can be a source of relaxation and other individual and group activities. The central transparent glass elevator can gift users with a unique journey as one travels upward and vice versa. The roof gives a very beautiful floating effect to the whole structure.
The introduction of water bodies on multiple floors is another exclusive characteristic of the project. The water body on the first floor is a long T-shaped one connecting multiple functions all at once. Accesses are given from one of the bedrooms via a balcony. Another access is from the first-floor foyer central via a glass platform. The last one is from the dining area. Accesses are carefully provided making sure one function doesn’t collide with the other.
The water body placed on the sixth floor is an extended floating one. Axes are provided from two sides. A connecting glass bridge from another terrace on the left wing and a dining area on the sixth floor. Frames on both sides of the water body create a vista. The wooden steps can be used as a sitting place. Being here in close contact with the water would help elevate one’s mind. Floating waterlilies add up to the whole scenic beauty of the spot.
